Size Guide for rubber boots & shoes

You are unsure about choosing the right size?

Basically, we recommend that you use your normal shoe size as a guide when choosing the size of the rubber boots. It is not necessary to order rubber boots one size larger or smaller. Rubber boots tend to be sized so that you can comfortably put on a thicker sock.

But there are also manufacturer-specific variations in rubber boots - similar to other clothing brands. For example, French brands such as Aigle, Rouchette, AJS Blackfox and Le Chameau tend to be slightly narrower, while other brands such as Dunlop, Viking and Muckboots are more generous. Classic women's models tend to be smaller and narrower than men's rubber boots and unisex models.

Feet are very individual. One person has a high instep, the other a narrow or wide foot or lies between two sizes - we will be happy to advise you on the right choice of size for your rubber boots, but we ask for your understanding that we too can only ever give a tendency from the various experiences and feedback from our customers. Please base your choice on your own experience and the size information given with the respective rubber boot.
