The manufacturer Rouchette is one of the companies that is committed to using responsible materials. The first joint products in collaboration with BLOOM are called PROTECT THE PLANET. A series of rubber boots with linings and insoles made from sustainable materials were made here. The lining was created from GOTS certified organic cotton, without pesticides, with reduced water consumption and under ethical working conditions. The insole made from recycled algae, which relieves water pressure, reduces the amount of synthetic materials used in production and therefore reduces the carbon footprint. Global warming is leading to a proliferation of harmful algae that is seriously destabilizing the marine environment. By extracting this algae and converting it into resin for the production of shoes, BLOOM protects the aquatic ecosystem, cleans waters and reduces the carbon footprint.
