Birkenstock is known for its mules. The leisure and working mule Boston ESD is one of the classics for office, health care or catering jobs. The upper material consists of leather, which is black, white or blue for this model. However, the footbed of this comfortable house shoe consists of a ESD cork leather bedding with velours leather casing, which adjusts perfectly to the particular foot and makes the shoe very comfortable. A damping EVA outsole was used as the sole. Additionally this working shoe is tested for, like the name says, ESD EN ISO 61340. Thus it suits for working with electronical components or radio technology, too.
